In my dreams the moon told me that is jealous because Phoebe shines in her own light.And shines day and night , and has beautiful wings. I asked the moon about the wings and told me we , simple mortals , are not allowed to see them.

I find a real, nostalgic safety in this song. I keep coming back to it to hide away from life. It's been on my mind since Bowie died and I never was able to put a finger on it.

@@tyhuff9576 nah I honestly think the new album isn't as good as the first one and is overrated with the reviews. Her best 2 songs are smoke signals and demi moore. They are the most moving.

So MUCH better audio in this recording than on CBS Morning Show Saturday, March 3rd, 2018. She sounded muffled and mumbling. She does so much better on a condenser mic. Gotta' find out where she's touring in the US to see "IF" we could get her say in Chalreston, Asheville, or Charlotte.

@jameshisself I really don't know how to describe how stupid your comment is. There's a lot to say about higher rates of suicide in men but that sure ain't it.
@ItsQuietTooQuiet6 жыл бұрын
phoebe would be appalled by your comment. to diminish someone's mental illness and try to psychoanalyze the dead is totally fucked. you didn't know elliott, and neither did i, so don't try to speak for him. life is more than looks, and the problems it deals us are bigger than stupid surface level shit like that. please refrain from saying shit like this, people like you are the reason we aren't making progress with mental health stigma.
@lmather6 жыл бұрын
I agree that people are treated differently based on appearance but I personally don't think that's the main problem regarding male suicides. In fact I would imagine appearance would have a larger effect on women's mental health compared to men due to the societal pressures to constantly look good (see emphasis on makeup, fashion etc). I think the main problem with men and mental health is how it's often looked down upon for men to be open with how they're feeling. Although treating people equally on appearance might help, I don't think it would solve the core problem whereas better education on mental health as well as better access to care probably would at least help. These issues are really complex and boiling it down to looks is not only ignorant but also damaging to the progress that needs to be made in this regard.

Can you be attracted to someone's sadness? Asking for a friend.
@tokinzie2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. In most cases when people are attracted to sadness within people it's because connections between the two are stronger, providing comfortability within each other. I'm attracted to sad-like people, very similar to Phoebe's aura and honestly there's no shame in that. Sadness can be beautiful in many ways and being able to connect on the reasoning for your sadness is truly beautiful and blossom a really good bond.
