This gringo had unwittingly trespassed into the gang areas. It was only a couple of days later that I realized what had happened. I wasn't really mad just kind of surprised that I stumbled to upon one of these areas and was rudely shewed away. They can have their crappy gang lands. Phoenix must have a fair amount of crime because the jail system complex was super massive. I know all the badass gangs inhabit this town. Not sure if its due to weather conditions or what, but it seems like the roads on the west coast are maintained alot better than the east. As a roadworker I notice these things. xD CharlieBo313 - how often to people stop you in the street when your cruising through the hood?

That first street shown was the first place i lived in phx back in 2016, definitely a bit of an eye sore but overall wasn’t too crazy. A few shootings, 1 murder & my homie got his car stolen there. Aside from that just a whole lot of tweakers with shopping carts & homeless walking around.

Phoenix ain’t too bad. If you mind your business no one will bother you. Usually south of downtown and the west side are the red flag areas. But you should be fine

Some people/outside workers especially wear long sleeves during summer to keep that sun off them.
