I’m from Scottsdale and I think you nailed it. There’s a lot Phoenix has to offer. Also something you missed are the great concert halls like Crescent Ballroom, Rebel Lounge, The Van Burian, and Valley Bar. The local music scene is full so many diverse artist and going to those clubs is a great way to see it. Also Crescent Ballroom has the best burrito I’ve ever ate

I was in Phoenix once, found a English Bull dog there. Named him Al Capone. Al liked to smoke cigars but not just any cigars he would only smoke swisher sweets. Of course I had to keep lighting them for him because sometimes he would fall asleep with the cigar in his mouth. My wife Norabell made him a little suit with a bow tie. Al loved to wear his little suit. My daughter Jenna taught him how to play one of those little toy pianos. He played it with his nose. He only learned a couple of songs, but he was pretty good. A fella come out from California was gonna put him in a TV show, but it never did happen. He never came back or called or anything. One day old Al Capone was playing his piano and smoking his cigar at the same time, and burnt the living hell out of his nose. Hot cigar ashes was everywhere. Poor old Al Capone died at the ripe age of 9 years. Gonna get me another bull dog one day. Yep good old Phoenix AZ. I remember it well.

I was born in Phoenix Arizona and raised in Houston Texas, I really miss the old days when my mother used to take me out to Arizona just to visit our relatives and Grandpa from back in the days. I especially love and miss the great atmosphere, the mountains etc. One day I hope to save up enough money to move back out there and make it my permanent home.

Phoenix for fun if you have a college degree, otherwise, Phoenix a struggle for the homeless and poor, and the drug problem is out of control. Some people are trying to escape Phoenix, but are too caught up in it.

Why to visit not move to Phoenix from a Phoenix native. - pollution - growing traffic - lack of public transportation in such a spread out valley - Fentanyl crisis - lack of entertainment - lack of green space - not walkable - lack of museums - lack of skyline - so so so spread out. - houses all look similar - older homes are unappealing to most - all homes have a earth shade to them , beige or light beige some might be a brown. - scorpions are very common - were on top of a subterranean termite belt - wasps - lack of knowledge and logic from people - education is always bottom 3 worst of the state. 2020 we were beat by Louisiana. We are 2nd worst. Hints the lack of knowledge and logic from people. - health care isn’t the best. And the last Im gonna mention but certainly not the last there is, lack of seasons, we only have 2 1/2. 1 being HOT , then monsoon season , then chilly. That’s it
