Kelsey Mitchell has been an underrated player on this Fever team. I mean, I know she's been recognized and everybody knows she's a great scorer, but when this team needed veteran leadership or somebody to dump the ball to (who can create their own shot), Mitchell has been there to take those big pressure moments and she more often than not hit them. She's got ice water in her veins. It's a shame if she goes elsewhere after this season because of money, but she deserves it. I think the Fever will struggle without her offense, but I can understand, they maybe need more perimeter defense and better depth off the bench.

@@anthonytaylor7928 I mean, she's clearly a standout and amazing, but I just think when this team was on the ropes and really struggling, Kelsey Mitchell stepped up big (and continues to do so) and it shouldn't be forgotten how important she's been for their success. CC has been amazing, but KM has repeatedly been clutch for the Fever in big games (and after the opponents have had huge runs). I just think the Fever will really miss her if she moves on because of free agency. She's a killer though. Her and Clark (and Clark and AB) have awesome chemistry.

Creates kind of a weird season play a little less than 2/3 of your games, then the Olympics, then 14 more games (?) so really kind of a sprint part of the season. Figure the Fever are still gelling and getting better, Mercury not so much so the break probably helped the Fever a lot more. title contention might be pushing it a little bit, but certainly securing a top 8 (7 right now) position in the playoffs. Curious how many assists CC had, she's one or two games away from breaking the season record.
