a big part of the storm loss today was bad coaching. i like jewel lloyd but she was playing like trash but coaches kept playing her and letting her force up terrible shots. when a player is having a off day a smart coach and including sue bird should be trying to settle that player down get other players more involved and set up plays for other players who are shooting better. katie lou was shooting great today but instead of trying to set up more plays for her they kept giving it to jewel who just went one on one and threw up hail marys or crazy off balance layup brick attempts. so frustrating to watch

Loyd is not a clutch players. She is inconsistent & always disappoints during the play offs. Katie Lou outperformed Loyd today & hit more clutch shots & this was her first play-off game.

I wouldn’t say that. Jewel Lloyd lit them up a week ago but went into Kobe mode and chucked up too many shots that weren’t falling. She shot the storm out of the game. Especially her late game shot selection.

@@2easymode I wouldn’t say that. Healthy DT with Skylar and BG is a force to be reckoned with. Both are top tier teams when healthy. If Washington was fully healthy they’d be contending as well

Noelle Quinn was a terrible coach for this playoff game. How can you let a streaky player like Jewell Loyd shoot the Storm out of the playoffs. 5 of 24 shots (21%) overall; 7 Three-Point Blanks (0%). Hoping and praying that she turns around her shooting performance is a lousy coaching tactic. Where was Plan B? Quinn was touted as being a High IQ Basketball Coach, but I just don't see it. Hopefully, Katie Lou gets some encouragement from this playoff game and uses it as a turning point in her young WNBA career.
