As far as I'm concerned, this is canon-- better than canon in all honesty! Everything about this is next level. Also, Hawks's move starting at 2:00 do be lookin' very much like Noctis's Armiger in FF15 and I am HERE for it. Also ALSO, the animation of when Hawks twirls his last tiny feather does something to my brain. It's like a burst of dopamine every time I watch it.

Holy heck. I loved the Oops animatic so much, but this is just pure, unbridled talent! The timing is amazing, the fighting is on actual show levels, the art is *chef's kiss*, and it features my two favorite characters! Hawks was downright sexy in Oops, but here he's almost feral and even sexier?! Both characters are so true to the show (sorry anime only fan), and I just really love how playful Hawks is at first. If I could give you my firstborn in return for just 1% of your talent (which I'm sure took forever to master I don't want to downplay your achievements!) I would hand them over in a heartbeat. This is honestly one of the best animations I've seen on this platform, and just knowing there is more in store makes me weepy. Thank you so much for this blessed animation!

I can't find adequate words to describe just how amazing this animatic is! I really love this song, so i am a little biased in the music department haha, but it genuinely fits the fight so well. The fight choreography is fricking sick, i rarely get to witness such incredible skill in creating great fight scenes! I also really love the fact that you can tell a lot about these characters just from the visuals, even if you don't know the source material. The way you draw facial expressions is so good - i love the beginning with the car driver, faces Hawks and Dabi make during their fight, and this relieved/greatful expression Hawks makes before the final handshake with Tokoyami. Handshake is another small detail i adore, i don't know if they do that in canon or if you added it, it just feels like something they would do
