as the first comment on this video i just want to say this was a great video and now i have an update on some of the areas i think i won't get lost this time with all the signs.

I was there 2.5 weeks ago, Mon-Wed a full week before Thanksgiving, and everything was open, everything was a walk-on all the time. I logged 30 laps on Cheetah Hunt & 32 on Iron Gwazi. Phoenix Rising is okay. A good layout, but quite a rattle, my least favorite family invert without OTSR. I did like the video that plays while the train is on the course. Penguin Trek was closed all day my first day, so these new B&Ms are having reliability issues. It did open on my 2nd day. Your son might come around later. I hated roller coasters until I was an adult. Hopefully, it won't take your son that long.
