The Log Flume at Morey’s Piers might be one of the best, most unique log flumes ever made. It starts out really normal, but then you drop below the Boardwalk. Suddenly you’re riding a dark ride! There’s all these props and scenes of teens hanging out under the boardwalk, naturally set to the song “Under the Boardwalk.” My friends and I weren’t expecting it at all, and we just started laughing hysterically when it happened. Kitt Superjet ride at Movieland Park (Italy) deserves a spot in this list. It's one of the most funny and insane rides ever. I live in Orlando and am one of the few people that have had the chance to ride the Hydra flyer at Wet in Wild. We use to get a season pass every year when my siblings and I were younger and my mom use to drop us off once a week or more in the summertime. I do agree that it was a little hard to get it to operate correctly. You had to perfectly time the stream on each side to get any height and it was hard to tell when to because you and the other rider are facing opposite directions. Many days the line was so long and capacity low and we would simply skip it. Cool ride though and I miss wet and wild. Those are days I will always remember fondly...

Of every water ride I've seen outside the US, the Fluch Des Pharao looks by far the most intriguing. A water ride I wish was installed was the pre-imagined Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It was then called “Tiger River Rapids” as it showcased real live tigers while guests pass by in rapid ride carts. There would be a longer and more advanced layout as well. Sadly, that didn’t happen. If it did, however, this would be a very problematic ride due to the ride being loud to the animals

Wet-n-wild Orlando was my water park growing up! I remember when they installed the Hydro Fighters. Probably the most exciting concept there at the time. Can confirm the user error. It relied on two people working cohesively and effectively, I think half the time people would catch on by the timer running out. But about one out of 8 would really catch some height and cause a spectacle! A bit of the draw was to see if you and someone could impress the onlookers/ workers (who would occasionally demonstrate). Wait times were long because of low ride capacity and I think in the end people like the “lazy” ride experiences. I loved it. Great memories! Thanks guys for an awesome video.

Another strange Water ride is KONGO-RIVER at Safariland Stukenbrock in Germany. Built by "van Egdom". You only sit down in a rubber dinghy on small stools. Without any restraints. The second drop however is a double drop that gives you quite a small amount of ejector airtime. So you can feel the boat lifting from the ground und you lifting from the boat. And without any restraints and only the small stool this is a very unique experience. On the downside the second lift hills goes 2 minutes. And without any backrest this becomes a real abs workout.

I am kinda surprised that Phantasialand's River Quest did not make on this list. While technically it is just another Hafema made rapids ride, it is quite unusual in the way that it doesn't just feature two parallel vertical lifts for capacity, but also is built on a very small plot of land, therefore building a stacked layout instead of a spread out one. I think it's three stories in total, with drops connecting them - one being the typical "whirlpool" drop. It was also supposed to feature a drop track (yes, DROP TRACK!), which was installed (no telling if it is still there, I haven't been to that park in 10 years), but it never got certified to operate with that drop track turned on (one rumor about it says that enabling it would have raised the minimum age and height for riders significantly which the park did not want, and the other one said that German authorities simply said nein). That track was fixed in its lowered position, turning it into a steep ramp that the rafts simply slide down. Maybe that drop track info never made it to any English speaking place... ?
