Our family visited Phoenix Zoo in Phoenix, Arizona. This zoo covers an area of about 125 acres and is home to more than 3,000 animals from around the world, including over 400 species. The zoo offers a variety of exhibits and attractions, including a safari train ride, a giraffe encounter, a petting zoo, and many more. It also has several conservation programs in place, aimed at protecting endangered species and their habitats. The Phoenix Zoo is a great place to visit for people of all ages who want to learn more about animals and the environment. Come join our family as we explore this amazing zoo.

My brother is awesome. Crazy thing is 3 weeks before that he had a massive heart attack and it really put a lot of things in perspective. Especially since he is 10 years younger than me. The zoo was fun and we saw almost all of it. We had a speed round because it was closing early for Zoo Lights, so we did it in 1 1/2 hours. Yea, little Rosalie is sprouting like a weed. I say that every time you do your vlogs.

Absolutely love to see animals, but I always have mixed feelings about zoos. It is good to see the animals are active. I agree with you Carl, whenever I see animals in zoos, they seem lethargic to me. It makes sense how the weather affects their physical activity. I enjoy the Rosalie camera view, keep that in upcoming videos family! Lieles says he won't be going in, he is sure a dino would show up at some point 😂😂

I think the Baboon was bigger than me when I was 4. This was the first time I have gone to a zoo where all the animals are up and about. They were just happy it wasn't over 100 degrees.

Mister always laughs when you do the "Let's Go"! Great zoo to check out! Mister watched while I cooked breakfast so I missed some things. So Mister's comments are, "The Lion looked cool and the cheetah looked fast!" Couldn't have said it better myself!

That catch phrase was something I didn't even know I was doing until someone pointed it out. And for some reason the young ones love it. Thank you Rugged Mountain Mister. I wasn't messing with the Lion or cheetah for sure. I do a lot of cooking and watching videos myself, especially during the weekends! Can't believe it is almost a year since our last adventure. Yea, we were surprised how cold it was. I packed mostly shorts and I got to wear it once. But the animals were sure loving it. We covered so much during that 13 day road trip that I have been posting videos for 3 months and I believe I still have 3-4 videos still to edit.

We went to Arizona last time in the 110 degree heat of summer. No way we were going at that time of year, except at night. But Christmas? Much better. Yeah, don’t anger the flamingos, Carl! 🦩 It’s a pretty open concept at that zoo! Always wanted to check out the San Diego Zoo Safari, much more open than the zoo at Balboa Park. Rosaliecam!! Yeah, childhood traumas are not fun. That lion was a bit…hangry. Melissa nails it. Great zoo.

Oh man that's hot! I told Lhee that I would only visit when it was not the summer. Christmas was great but a little too cold when you end up at higher elevations like the Grand Canyon. Try visiting Governor Hunt's Tomb, the white pyramid that overlooks the Zoo in Papago Park at night. After the sun goes down, you can sometimes hear the bellowing of the big cats (lions, tigers, I'm not sure which). If a fire truck or ambulance goes by, you can hear the wild dogs howling along.

If you like animals close by, monkey village was really cool. Every time we go to a zoo they are just laying around doing nothing so this was such a treat for us. But we got there late and it closed early for the Zoo lights, so we covered the whole zoo in 1 1/2 hours.

The Phoenix zoo is rated one of the top 10 WORST zoos in the US. I was there last year during Xmas and I can see why. There were speakers all over the zoo with Xmas music blasting. The monkey enclosure even said to keep quiet for the monkeys, but there was a loud speaker next to their enclosure. They also have metal ramp over the lion enclosure that children STOMP over and it is so loud you can hear it from far away. What a terrible way to treat locked up animals. This zoo needs new management who actually care about the animals and not lining their pockets with money.
