Also something I forgot to touch on in the video proper. But doing this combo self contained uses 9 ED cards. Which is already WAY better than previous formats where every combo took 11-13 ED cards. But in all the augmented combos you expend with other resources. The ED usage goes down further to as few as 7 cards used. This is a large reason why I call this the most optimal way to approach Dragunity Bystial combo lines. It generates the most amount of free advantage while preserving as many useful resources as possible and with less bricks overall.

In testing I found something you can add to the combo once we get Branded Etude. Do the combo as normal but instead of adding/discarding Couse get Phalanx instead and place Etude on the board instead of Beast. Using the bounced ravine add Dux(making the combo Remus + 2 discards), equip and summon Phalanx, and pass. On the opponent's SP use Spheres to tribute itself and bounce Dux for next turn and summon another Phalanx from the deck. On it's summon use Etude's effect to synchro using Savage and both Phalanx for Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity.

Great timing! I've been contemplating some kind of Dragunity deck with a Bystial package akin to the Bystial Dragon control deck that popped up in some of the DBG vids since I like the idea of the main engine lines not being as weak to opposing Bystials as say Dragon Link or Thunder Dragon. Was just a matter of figuring out how to get it all down to nearly 40.

Something that you neglected is second effect of Dragunity Knight - Luin, which states "If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 Dragunity monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 1000 ATK/DEF" It's not gamebreaking or super important, but since your end board consists of Dragunity Knight - Areadbhair, upon its summon you can choose to equip Luin to it and bump his ATK/DEF to 4300/4200.

dude, totally loved the combo! You can also trigger the Luin's effect in the graveyard after you link summon de second Spheres. It will equip to the Areadbhair that is already on the field, making the combo even better.

In the description says, don’t hard loose to dark ruler no more and sphere mode but in this format still loose to those cards and that combo is very subcestible to nibiru. I still play dragunity and my friend too and I always nibiru him if he don’t play crystal clear by the 5 summon. He play all week that deck and I play different decks and even I win with cubics.

@@PhoenixFlareX yeah he have that problem of skills. But what I said if that board that you build for example the first negate you left if way past you’re 7 summon and with dark ruler no more or forbidden droplets that board it’s very week. I’m not saying it’s bad don’t get me wrong.

So you clearly didn't listen to what I said in the video or you choose to ignore it. But don't take my word for it. I can show you actual results. I have dozens of hours livestreamed playing this deck so far with an audience. I have been Dark Ruler'd, Sphere Mode/Lava Golem'd, and even Evenly Matched a lot. Haven't lost to it yet. Play correctly and the Branded Beast + Bystials in hand interaction allows you to win these games. If you are losing to those cards with a deck that operates like this. You have a skill issue and you aren't playing correctly.
