Omg yeessss, the fusion has her own mind and voice. It's just so sad, she's confused. She just doesn't understand why they don't want her to be. It's just how malichite never fully got to exist because her personality never formed. Her body was always there but it was always just lapis and jasper inside. I can't wait to see this cute cinnamon roll get to experience existing. Maybe jasper will learn to let others have control when fused too and see how wonderful being together can be. I can't wait to see the next episode, I am in love with this series.

I just thought about what would their fusion weapon would be, so I thought "Huh what would be a helmet like Jaspers be combined with a shield" and then I couldn't get the image of them wearing some hammer helmet with the shield at the end of the helmet like the freaking Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy hammer of discipline or something. It would make sense as the first time Jasper and Steven met she nocked him out with a headbutt and seems to do that a lot. P.S. Really love the comic so far its amazing and the characterization, (potential)foreshadowing, and story writing are great.

I... I think it WAS Jasper. That ending sold it for me. She wants a solid fusion, but she isn't going to admit that. Not to Steven. Not even to herself. Not now. Also... I think it might be because Onyx themself is developing a personality and wants to exist.

I remember seeing the beginning of this fusion comic and thinking if it were to happen they'd probably act like Sugulite, Stevens desire to cut loose and lash out mixed with Jasper's maliciousness and sadism, now having just watched this I've realised the opposite is it also possible, Stevens desire to have a purpose be useful & liked coupled with a possible desire not to be alone from Jasper could result in a fusion that doesn't want to infuse.
