Phoenyx - An Unusual Showcase

Trankser here, uh yeah Phoenix doesn't really have much complexity to it. If anything it's Crane but has better combos on ground than air. So here's a bit of tips. - S1A is your main best friend for dealing huge damage. I wouldn't advise doing the S2B often since heat management is important. You can also forward dash with it so if you wanna close the gap quickly use this to guarantee a combo start on someone's block. - Phoenix has LOTS of range and movement so being on the offense is best. However, don't be too offensive or they'll catch on or alternatively, you run out of heat needed to continue pressure. - Juggles are good with Phoenix but unlike Crane, Phoenix doesn't have a way to extend them outside of S1A or M1B. So make your juggles quick if you can, quickly destroying them is what Phoenix is all about in my opinion. - Slow down a bit when you M1, you might accidentally M1B when you didn't mean to since Phoenix M1s are REALLY fast. - Phoenix out of all the styles can guarantee a block break but not advised, you lose out more than you'll gain unless you continue the pressure. So if you go this route, commit to high aggression. Overall, not much I can give out since you can treat it as Crane but focused more on ground combos instead of air. S- is a valid ranking since this style is MEGA CRACKED on combos but it is overall a bit more stricter but has less endlag on some moves compared to Crane where you do a lil' animation after landing which can be cancelled if you have the heat (S1A cannot if S2A is on cooldown.)

One more thing to add is that the 2nd finisher can juggle on ex heat too (but honestly who uses that, s1b is still better), you can use this information to create some useless combos that noone will ever use in actual battles, people usually prefer efficiency more than style
