Strange how these guys couldn't even bother to watch more of your videos to see that the results are consistent, even with expensive watches. And then they threaten to report and stuff... I guess this is the world we live in.

It’s hilarious that some people find this watch too big. 45mm is not a huge watch by any means. If anything; the smaller 36mm to 39mm trend is way too effeminate for my liking. This watch is certainly not tacky like Invicta or some of the other gawdy brands. The average wrist is 7.25” and thus a 42mm to 47mm watch is well proportioned. Absolutely love the bright blue color, which reminds me of a Tudor Pelagos. 👍🏻
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR2 жыл бұрын
I guess it all depends on what size wrist you have. Then the important measurement is the lug to lug.

James... great review. This reminds me of tudor pelagos in blue that mated with a zelos case. The only thing I don't like is the huge space from the top of the case to the rubber strap (at 4:41 in your video). I have a couple of the isofrane type of strap and they are thick and to see that much case just bothers me... not that big of a deal though considering the $300 price tag.

Nice review James! When I saw the lumeshot I had the exact same impression, the lumed sections of the hands need to be wider. On the whole, that chunky, angular and even brutalist case design isn't my thing.

That's a lovely watch. I was looking to buy a Phoibos a few months ago, because they have a branch in Europe, which should be fast and simple. Unfortunately, it is based in the UK, which since Brexit makes is slow and expensive for EU based people.

I own a Bronze Leviathan in green, and it seems like they really toned down the design for the stainless steel version. It feels like it lost a lot of the character the original bronze one had, so that they could appeal to a bigger audience. But I guess that's to be expected because the original Leviathan really didn't sell in any significant numbers, as far as I can tell.
@HonestWatchReviewsHWR3 жыл бұрын
I think you've probably hit the nail on the head there. They need to try and make it more widely appealing to be able to sell more.

I wrote this off because of the size and the poor pictures on Spinnaker's site (everything looks like a render). It looks a lot better in video - the green + green variant would really deserve the Hulk nickname. What does the watch weigh? Citizen have interrupted grip on some of their bezels, and it's always struck me as a bit odd. Adds some style on the Cits, but here I think they could have gone with all-round grip.
