Thank you for your comment but I don't use the phonic symbols in my training as I am using Jolly Phonics here which does not use that system

When should a learner be introduced to blending ?

Blending should be introduced immediately. As soon as a child has two sounds they can immediately begin blending them together. You will have any plenty of review to get the student blending independently
