Lead can generate unwanted bremsstrahlung x-rays when beta particles collide with it, plus it's not transparent (unless it's in the form of leaded glass, which would be more expensive and fragile than plastic anyways). Great video as always :)

Biochemistry with P 32 sounds like a great idea Maybe the bio accumulation of phosphorus in plants would show where it goes similar to carbon 14 just with a little more of a kick with beta

Maybe it glows cool. Because of chemilumeszence of P and cherenkov because of 1,7MeV Betas^^
