Does the Tx allow an external mic to be attached? If so, do you know if that's true of the lightning version as well? I saw a small hole on the Tx that looked like a 3.5mm jack, so that's why I am wondering. I need the lightning version, however. THANK YOU for making this video!

hi Nate, no, not with the P1L/P1T. But the Synco G1L/T allows external mic attach to the transmitter.

Is the audio in this video all recorded using only the Sycno P1 (specifically when you are sitting in your studio, are you using the audio that is recorded by the Synco P1)?

Yes all recorded using P1 only. For studio one, the P1 was connected to my computer. The outdoor one was connected to my phone.

Thanks a lot Richard for this video. I'm looking for a microphone for my Samsung NOTE 20 ultra and now I'm sure to buy a Synco product. I'll use it in my lab, recording video inside and I would like to ask you if there are big quality different between P1T and G1T. If I understand there are a lot of difference for weight, battery time, design but (for me) it is not clear if the quality of sound is the same. Hi Micky,. If you don't need a super small microphone, I believe the g1t is better. But check the audio of this video and my g1t video as they both recorded using those mics and see which sounds better to you?

I’m looking for versatility - I’d like to connect to my PC (USB C) and sometimes use with phone (iPhone / Lightning). Do you know of any USB C to Lightning or Lightning to USB C adaptors that would work? I have been searching but seems most are only for charging or data transfer, no audio/video.

Thanks for this review ... Genuine question here. Why not just Design a good quality Bluetooth mic and pair it with the phone instead of this?

Good question, my guess is, with bluetooth microphone you usually have a very limited working range, just a few meters at most. While wireless mic usually has longer working range. But this is just my guess.

It's not only for phones. P1T works with computers, I know it also works with some cameras that support USB audio as well.

I purchased this and returned it ! This product needs to be improved for basic use. This MIC system has several issues: 1) side button makes it easy to press accidentally and mess up the sound completely (when you have FX on while you want plain sound). Sound FX on the MIC is absolutely stupid idea. 2) the little drawer with the mics rattles, so when you jogging or moving this thing around you will have a rattling sound 3) there is no way to turn off the light so when one recording in public places this thing will always draw attention (non-sense) 4) no way to protect it from wind noise

Just flip the mic so the clip shows, not the lights.
