Nice tutlorial. It does a decent job removing the subject. There is still a lot of work left to be done after the person was removed. Her body left a shadow outline. I guess you would need to go back in and clean up with the clone tool. Thanks for the tutorial :)

Hello Ed. Yes, it just shows the basics. You are right object removal is not an easy process if there are alot of artifacts like shadows and such, and the touch up process is labourious. I will do a part two soon and show how to get better results. Thanks for the comment.

That works for me. Good video. I can't figure out why the grass is 2 way different shades of green right at her body line. Is it the slope of the hill? Shadow from the tree? it's just odd it is so different in that exact spot as her.

Yeah, the park people have used two different kinds of grass has the whole area had been patched and looks almost two tone. Most people haven't noticed because they are always taking pics of the cherry trees. Lol.

Hello Wiljan5560. I wanted to do it old school, the second pic was challenging. Which ever you opt for zoom in after you have used one to see if there are problems. Mine replicated the trees and grass which when zoomed in was really ugly. I would try the smart removal first.

Good morning. So everything is now A.I. just click on background removal ai and it does it automatically. Use the brushes to bring some of the background back with the + brush and remove more with the - brush. It works the same under Guided or Expert.

Hello E K. No, it is definitely no where near perfect. I just wanted to show the abnormalitys that come from doing it like this. The light and subject make it very hard to do any kind of removal.

Not close to perfect. Still a decent start. I imagine a lot of cloning needs to be done.
