I have been using photoshop professionally for over 22 years. I do everything from "muscle memory" (I dont even think about finding shortcut keys) But there are so many new features and changes to the tools over the years that it is easy to get stuck in the "old ways" (I still press H to move the canvas instead of the Hold Space - DERP!) So I decided to watch this video series in the hopes I would pick up new tricks, and I wasn't disappointed, only lesson one and I already picked up some tricks. I cant believe I was watching your channel for so long and never took the basics course - I'm going to binge watch them all now!

I tried PS tutorials, I tried other KZbin channels, Shorts, books..the lot! This tutorial was amazing! The first session where I was actually smiling at the end as I felt I learnt so much. Just the simple explanation of the Options bar and how it is directly related to Tools was a massive game-changer! Thank you so much :)

Great teaching techniques. One nuanced one, where you say something like "What does the move tool do?" and you add with a subtle this-is-easy tone "Move" you not only teach the tool but also send a tactic message that Photoshop while appearing overwhelming and mysterious actually contains a lot of very straightforward and logical attributes
