Dude top shelf vid. You explain things very succinctly and, from what little I know, quite comprehensively as well. If you've ever seen the movie "Scanners", the part you FFWD thru had your melon bopping back and forth reminiscent of that film. Thought the off the wall comment might put variety in your day. Hope you and yours are safe and well. 👍✌🖖 Also, maybe the reason for them always being upside-down is bc the very 1st bottom was widest and makes the best to build up from, like a pyramid, for when it's injecting plastic layer by layer on the 3d printer. ✌😜

Thank You very much! this software is revolutionary..!!!!😮😮😮 but what about the polygon numbers? because it seems that this smooth shape has very much polygons! does it means that this software need a strong hardware? thank you very much again!❤️🥰
@jaredx23 жыл бұрын
That's a great question and yes. This is big math stuff so it is VERY much processor dependent both CPU and GPU. Also decimation is a step I don't go over because you might use a different tool depending on your application. However I will do that in a future video. Subscribe!

@@jaredx2 Thank you very much again for your precious response, Because I have Dell Inspiron n5110 although it has windows 10 on samsung ssd and has 16 GB of ram, but it's for 2009 and I don't have any choice only just to try it's performance for this software! 1 GB of Nvidia GT 525m OMG!!!😅 😅 😅 Thank you very much again man☺️ Best Regards!🙏🙏🙏💝

I tried this but instead of walking around the object I used a turntable. 24 Pics at one angle and 24 at a lower one but otherwise followed your instructions. but I got no usable mesh. Is there a setting I should change in 3df Zephr free?
@sviru0072 жыл бұрын
I guess you cant use turntable - I also did what you did - it was a no go.

I wonder if removing the backgrounds from all the images and then using the image set of just the object works better?

Hi Jared, can i ask: assuming i use the pro version so i can use more photos, if i wanted the 3d file details to be more accurite and the final 3d mesh to be much finer and acurite. would it be the case of taking a further couple of sets of really close up pictures of the detailed areas as well? can the software use close up shots in combination with further out shots and be able to map them all to points? A

Great video! thank you , useing a Canon Rebel T1i , and getting a lot of noise and other issues.. think i need to upgrade to a newer camera like a T7i ?
@amphoravideo3 жыл бұрын
T5i or even a T3i would work great.
@jaredx23 жыл бұрын
The noise is probably the ISO/sensitivity on your camera. I've had issues with some Canon as well. More light = less noise. Also if you use a tripod you can use the slower speed.
@plog18052 жыл бұрын
Good starting camera settings: ISO 100, f 9 to 11 and then adjust shutter speed to get proper exposure.

Can you make ISO CAD dimensions and drawing out of 3DF Zephyr Free?
@jaredx22 жыл бұрын
I would guess you could. You should try it!
@hulyaoral-karakoc31173 жыл бұрын
it did not work with my camera, it is eliminating half of the photos.
@jaredx23 жыл бұрын
it means you need more overlap or they were redundant or the lighting isn’t right to pick up the texture.
