You guys will seriously complain about anything. Maybe, just maybe, those weren't all the shots he got? And maybe, just maybe, this video is a clip of a much longer session? I don't understand the particular, focused snobbery when it comes to CL's photography videos. Maybe it's cause a decent camera is affordable, so you all fancy yourselves a regular gang of Steve McCurry's and Ansel Adams out there, just waiting for that big break.

There is nothing wrong with both recognizing that Tom is an excellent photographer while also noting that the video is terrible...it teaches nothing and shows photographs that are awful...the big tips in the video is "look where the animal is going to be" and "use cable release to minimize camera shake"...which isn't exactly the kind of tips somebody who can afford that gear really needs...

no art in the shot whatsoever...a disgrace to the 600 F4G lens. what is the point of this video?

He took up most of the time talking about where the moose would go ...or what the moose would do ... and this detracted greatly from the enjoyment of looking at the environment ..and close ups of the moose.. Mr Mangelsen could have "swept" thro the surrounding territory giving us a panaromic view ... disappointing for not even an amateur..
