Photographing Banff National Park With My New Camera

I wrote a book: www.fototrippe...
Is that a medium format camera in my pocket or am I just glad to see you? I attempt to take the Fujifilm GFX100S for a test drive but the future mother-in-law kills my mojo.
We decide to relocate to the grand vistas of the Canadian Rockies where I finally get to stretch the legs of this immensely powerful camera but will the snow clear enough for me to capture that epic panorama?
While dodging abandoned mine shafts Amanda hears wedding bells, but all I can think about are the three Fujinon lenses in my camera bag and the magic moments I'm going to capture on this trip of a lifetime.

Gavin, those concrete building frames at the base of Cascade Mtn. we’re not housing but part of the coal mining structures before the mine closed in about 1922 due to a labour strike. My grandfather lived and worked there before moving to Canmore in about 1920. Also I really envy your trip to Lk. O'hara for 3 days. I’ve hiked and skied there many times but never stayed overnight. It really is one of the most beautiful places on the planet! Well done! Also love that composite shot from Cirque lake. Cheers
