Hey, Robbie, just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. You do an awesome job of showing the trials and occasional tribulations of photography, and expressing your purpose in each shot. I especially appreciate that you don’t waste the first 30% of your videos showing us how you make your coffee, driving 70 miles, etc…you get right into the photography, which is great! Keep up the good work, bud, and thanks for all your hard work!

As a former farmer, it's incredibly nice to see someone with an appreciation for agriculture. Keep up the good work, Robbie.

I think you might enjoy these concepts: “Avulsion” is the pushing back of the shoreline by sudden, violent action of the elements, perceptible while in progress. “Accretion” is the process of growth or enlargement by a gradual buildup. “Alluvial” means an increase in land from the flow of water against a shore or bank. “Littoral” means a part of a river, lake or sea that is close to the land. “Reliction” is the gradual recession of water leaving land permanently uncovered. The bird field recording at the end was awesome.

Saw the thumbnail and hoped it was more Mamiya content. I love that thing. It is so weird and amazing. I love how it is function over form, first and foremost.

My Grandad was a farmer so I completely get what you mean about the smell, takes me right back. It looked beautiful out there, loved the images you created, the colours were gorgeous.

Hi, Robbie. I really enjoyed watching your video again. The environment where you are is certainly comparable to the environment where I live, the Netherlands. You gave me the idea to start photographing the agricultural landscape and possibly farms. As soon as my scoot has been made mobile, I head out into the polder again. I do work digitally because I can no longer do the work that comes with analog photography. I am disabled, so I am happy that I can maintain my passion for photography by photographing digitally. Thank you for sharing your work, it is an inspiration to me. Kind regards from the Netherlands, Antoine.

Somehow this is the first video of yours where I've noticed that you are making the music for your channel as well! Would be cool to see a video on how that is done.

I think I started adding it at the start of the year.. Honestly, just got sick of paying for music subscriptions that always get more expensive. Idk if I would make a video on music making. I think a lot of people would just tell me how wrong I'm doing it and I'm not ready for that yet lol
@escho145 ай бұрын
@@RobbieMaynardCreates that is fair enough! The music really compliments your images, imo.

I have spent two weeks walking on the Camino de Santiago and I think you would really enjoy visiting the rural environment in the north of my country, where one of the most prominent occupations has to do with agriculture and livestock.

I would have tried to grab a shot of just the puddle with the reflection of the grain bin right at the beginning there.

i want one of these, but not if they are that finicky. i like to work with difficult, but i have limits. i wonder if it is just age of the camera

its definitely an adjustment but just like anything else, once you give it some time. It becomes second nature

I have had both an SE and a Universal for years. Never had an issue with them. Recently took out the SE and ran some stored polaroid. Not one issue. I got them off an old photographer I assisted. I imagine you just have the bad luck of the draw. Beautiful images from those lenses though
