Great video again and pictures, the squirrels are a joy to watch! I went the about 3 weeks ago directly as a result of your first visit, and was captivated by the beauty and magic of the place. It is a place well worth visiting and Paul is a great guy. I managed to get some beautiful shots into the bargain! Cheers for highlighting this place Gary :)

Hi Gary I had the pleasure of going to a squirrel rescue and got some photos of a black squirrel a white one too it was fantastic to have a black squirrel running around your legs and body climbing on your camera that made it hard to photo. I love wildlife....

Fabulous video, they are so adorable to watch and photograph, we were there for a couple of days two weeks ago. Weather was really bad but we still had an amazing time. Thanks for all the videos you are giving us so many new ideas for things to try out. I have always wanted to photograph red squirrels and we only found Pauls site because of your earlier video :).

Absolutely loved this photo shoot and even though you said they were "studio" type images, I think they look amazing. It's not as if they posed on a chair for you - they are still natural.

No Red squirrels in Cornwall. Loads of Grey ones. I work for Cornwall Wildlife Trust and we have a project called Tor to Shore - bringing back rare species on the wetlands. I actually work on a reserve. If you want pictures of Beavers I could tell you where.

Agree with the others, a magical place. Love squirrels! We don’t have them in Australia, except in zoos, so this video is extra-special. However, who has the noisy shutter button on their camera??? Doesn’t it have a ‘silent’ setting? Still, a lovely vid and beautiful images, Gary.
@vzshadow14 ай бұрын
How did the Z8's AF work? And what sort of shutter speed did you use for the stills of the jumping squirrels?
@GaryGough4 ай бұрын
1/2000 second shutter speed for the jumpers. The AF is ok. I'm still playing with various settings it's cool. 👍👍

What an absolutely lovely video! Those squirrels are so tame! I've tried to photograph Red Squirrels in the Cairngorms, but nowhere near as close as this! Amazing! By the way, was that a Cuckoo I heard in the background? Haven't heard or seen one for years!
