What’s your opinion on the sigma 150-600 contemporary Len’s I was thinking of getting it for my first big Len’s? Also amazing video and photos ❤
@birdswithbeau18 күн бұрын
I have heard great things about that lens, and I have multiple friends that shoot with it. Honestly, if you are shooting Nikon, you'll probably want to go for the Nikkor 200-500mm, which is usually a pretty similar price. But if you're shooting Canon, (not sure honestly if there is a Sony mount version) Also I recommend buying used, you can save a ton. Happy shooting!

I had it it's a great lens . I used it with my Canon 5D Mark 4 and my Canon 80 and 90d. When I had my dslrs it was perfect. I switched over to mirrorless and went from the Canon EOS R to the R5 in the matter of weeks. With my ef to rf adapter all of my Canon lenses do an amazing job. But that was the one lens that I would have focusing issues with. I ended up selling it and buying a 500 mm F4 but I actually still missed that lens I just wished it would play nice with the mirrorless stuff. Sigma just reissued the 60 to 600 mm for Sony recently and it seems to be an amazing lens too. I think it's photographers can get too caught up on sharpness and forget about composition. The last picture I want a competition with was actually one that I was going to delete. I made a video about it last year and it's not even my sharpest picture it's just a composition was amazing. But that aside, it's still a very sharp lens.

I also appreciate adding all the photos in after each shot, helps me feel like i’m there! Keep up the good work!

I was out one time and heard all the little birds making a fuss, I thought because of me. I slowly turned to see what the ruckus was all about and a bald eagle was landing on what was left of a dead tree behind me.

hello man love you content (keep it up) im thinking about swaping from the D750 to the D500 (averything is bether exept 4MP) do you think this is a good idea (im buy the nikkor 200-500mm f5.6 right after xmas, so it wil be after that
@birdswithbeauАй бұрын
Thanks! If your looking to mainly shoot birds and wildlife, the d500 is definitely a worthy upgrade. But if you are planning on shooting some casual wildlife/birds, but also landscape and portrait photography, then I would lean towards sticking with the d750. I've shot the 200-500 with both of those bodies and they both perform great. Going from the d750 to the d500, the biggest thing you will notice is the jump in your burst rate, (6.5fps to 10fps) and the endless buffer, which is awesome. Also the autofocus is significantly better than the d750. It's a bit hard to really know the difference until you've used both of them, but the d500 is a monster when it comes to birds in flight. Also the extra reach from the dx sensor is well worth the slightly worse high ISO performance and the 4mp drop (I have never really noticed a difference)

@@birdswithbeau Same, I went on flickr and saw that the photos were from the 200-500, I looked at all the film and noticed that it was f/4 so I was betting on 500mm or 600mm f/4. You write that you love it so is it a step up in quality over the 200-500? Greetings.
@birdswithbeauАй бұрын
@ukasz7073 Yeah, the biggest downside is the weight, it's just shy of 12 pounds so it's a quite the unit to move around. The difference in quality is fairly big, although I think I would be able to take advantage of it more with a better body, ie. a Nikon Z8. The f4 definitely is worth it though, the bokeh is miles better and you get twice the light on your sensor, which is especially important shooting aps-c as I do. Thanks for watching!
