Photographing The Low Lighthouse at Burnham on Sea | Blue Hour, Sunrise, High Tide B&W Photography!

Join me on an photography journey from Worcestershire to Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset as I capture the breathtaking beauty of the Burnham-on-Sea low lighthouse. In this adventure I photograph the stunning coastal landscape during the magical moments of the blue hour, sunrise, and high tide, aiming to produce a collection of images that represent the change of the light and the photographic conditions and using techniques such as focus stacking and long exposure photography
Armed with my trusty Pentax K1 camera, I immerse myself in the serenity of the blue hour, where the sky is painted with hues of indigo and violet, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for my photography.
As the sun begins to peek over the horizon, I eagerly anticipate the golden hour, seizing the opportunity to capture Burnham-on-Sea low lighthouse in the soft morning light. Capturing the essence of this picturesque scene, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow to create stunning compositions and photography.
But the adventure doesn't end there. As high tide approaches, I eagerly await the dramatic transformation of the landscape. With the sea swelling around the legs of Burnham-on-Sea low lighthouse, I experiment with long exposure techniques, aiming to capture the high tide of the ocean in striking black and white monochromatic fine art photos.

Thanks rRob, I was more excited to be out and about in some fine conditions and nice weather for a chnage. I spend most of my days stuck in a small bedroom office and behind the computer so it was a well needed escape to the real world for me.

I have been there for an evening sunset and a spot of so so astro. It's quite photogenic and I enjoyed your take on it and the strong images that you took, as well as the video of course. Keep up the good work and make them as long or short as needed, I'll keep watching them.

Thanks Kevin, the right time of year, moon phase and conditions I think this location would work well for astrophotography, in fact I have tried it previously as something to do whilst waiting for another sunrise shoot here. I might return a 3rd time for that purpose alone.

Nicely done, Geoff. Some good choices on the background music too - I do think the ambient genre suits the blue hour opening sequences. You got more out of this location than I initially thought, judging from this little vid. I look forward to the next one. 👍🏻
