Those close-up detail shots of the mountain are breathtaking. Good reminder to take a second body (weight, room, and budget allowing), to be able to shoot unexpected scenes while your primary, is busy bracketing / taking intervals.

The best part of every landscape photograph is the effort to get to location and get the shot. What is not fun is to leave the place after the shot. The pleasure to look the great photograph is not that it is great, it is that you will remember the trip to get that, and it is your own unique secret that no other photograph viewer will know. And more effort you are required to do for that photo, more luck it takes, more unique it is, higher the pleasure. That is great thing in this episodes that you are going through those famous locations and revealing the unepicness in them.

You guys need to be more creative than just shooting the big mountain. Just because it was covered up by clouds doesn't mean your lesson is ruined. You are walking through so many beautiful places and only care about the mountain. You guys are surrounded by so many things people dream to see so photograph them. Do a lesson where you photograph a tree or a stream or do a long exposure of the mountain so the clouds look like a sea. Just some ideas.

Wow you can tell how much work and effort you all put into these lessons... well worth the money charged (will have to buy in the near future at least one). You may have already addressed this suggestion int he past, but why not hike during the day and camp out with one or maybe two stay back at the hotel to bring fresh batteries and or supplies during the early morning shot at such a distant location. This may save you some time and effort if planned when the weather forecast is favorable. Again this may be old suggestion or not even possible due to the weather and extra gear you may need but maybe.....?

Typical Lee sentence: "This is the [superlative] [noun] I have ever [verb] in my entire life" (and little variations) : - This is the best hike I have ever done in my entire life - This is the worst pasta I have ever eaten in my entire life - These are the strongest winds I have ever seen in my whole life - I have never felt so tired in my entire life I play a drinking game guessing the sentence before he finishes it =D

Compelling landscapes aren't taken despite weather, they are photographs of the weather. Ansel Adams [reportedly] said "Bad weather makes for good photography". The very fact that a rival group is hitting the same spots as you guys on the same days is testament to the generic nature of popular/known landscapes. I love your work, your productions are great and you guys are great characters to watch, but you focus a lot on how to produce the same/same kind of photograph, rather than creating something inspired, compelling, or original, which often takes free thinking and improvisation. Granted this can't be taught, but with your means to be in amazing places, and years of experience in the industry, you could at least demonstrate this to your audience a little better, I know you're capable of it. I personally found the scenery on the hike and B-roll footage far more interesting than the intended target.
