I noticed that you added a new video style at the start of the video! Nice! Your ICM shot is really good. I love the colours and the patterns. It looks like a really cool abstract painting! And oh, I am so jealous that your Canadian waterfalls look much better than ours. And how you capture them so nicely. Well done, mate! / I can't even operate without constantly eating something(the reason why I'm fat). I don't even know how you did that haha

Thanks Arty I'm glad you liked it! I surprised myself with the ICM image because I initially took it by accident (but it looked kind of cool) then I did it again purposefully and it turned out to be one of my favorite images from the morning. Normally when I skip breakfast I tend to be lots of snack but I did not plan properly that morning and I paid the price 😂

Good idea to set the mood of your video with a little teaser! I have done that sort of thing before, and I don't think I've come close to perfecting it, but I'll tell you what I do know. I begin including direct scenes of the thing I was photographing, because the video isn't about finding the waterfall our mountain or whatever, it's about how you as a photographer are capturing it, so I have begun putting really interesting shots of my subject when I can. Also, I have found that showing off camera gear, reminding people that I am a photographer right away keeps people interested in the video longer, so I have included shots of me taking shots. Hope this helps in your endeavours? Great video, nice to see a hidden gem and think about how I may shoot the scene. I also leave the "risky" shot to the end :)

Great tips Nick, thanks! I will try my best to implement them going forwards. I really liked filming and editing the little clips together so I plan to continue doing it (if nothing else for my own selfish enjoyment). Glad you liked the 'risky' shot 😄.

@@tim.poirier great! Yea you were for sure right that the risky shot would be your last of that day, just who knows the reason, right?
