hey man, lease help me here, which scanner would you recommend for B&W film? noritsu, Fuji, epson or Nikon coolscan
@Hasselbaddie3 жыл бұрын
Lab scanners are crazy expensive, epsons kinda suck, Nikon Coolscans are great but also expensive. Id buy a Sony FF mirrorless and go that route, itll be the best option. All those scanners (except fuji) use old outdated software and it can be a pain to work with. DSLR / mirrorless scanning is the best option. Plus Negative Lab Pro can give you some pretty damn good colors.

Epsom’s v600 are good, I get good scans with the normal film holders. Just make sure the negs dry fla. I also place the negs in between two heavy books whilst the negs are in the sleeves to assist. Simple, but it works. Also look up negative lab pro, £70 for a lifetime membership but it’s good shit

@@legionchef I have a V600 too, 35mm scans are not good at all. Scanning 120 can get you decent enough results. But regardless DSLR scanning is by far the best option. Cheapest way to get the most out of your negatives.

@@Hasselbaddie each to their own, perhaps I’ve never seen a good 35mm scan to compare mine too. I’m fairly happy with my set up.

@@legionchef I have a plustek 8200i which is a dedicated 35mm scanner + my experience with good lab scans. Obviously if you’re happy with the results that’s all that matters.
