@@ThomasHeatonPhoto Seriously, though, I'm not that much into landscape photography and as a new year's resolution I want to get less input on gear, composition, editing, you name it, to challenge myself come up with things, but I still like watching all of your videos because the way you describe a scene or picture, even before showing the final shot, is so incredibly mesmerizing. I don't know any other KZbinr that can paint with words like you do, it's definitely your unique selling point.

You know it is almost 3 years or long since i have been watching your video and all i can say is that, i feel can your videos . Even with my eyes closed i can see what you are doing in your video. And that's what makes you what you are. Thanks for being a KZbinr and a photographer at the same time.

I really enjoyed this video. In northern New England in the US, we have larches, a small primitive pine tree that is deciduous. So, in the fall its needles turn yellow before dropping off. I also loved the grasses in the ripply water.

Another yellow tree, who cares, it is a particularly nice tree so I think it's a very worthwhile subject, I would have photographed it too due to the situation. Woodland photography is very good for the soul. Great video Thomas. I've said it before, wellys are a great accessory for the landscape photographer actually many photographers!

The area with the grasses sticking out of the water already looked like a painting in the video, so it's no surprise that it ~really~ came together in the photo. Had I been in your shoes, I think I would've gone for a second shot with a longer lens having the brightly lit trees in the center-right filling the frame, 'cause they're so damn beautiful. Thanks for another great video!

Hello Thomas, I follow about 60 landscape vloggers but your's is my first go - to! I also learned one or two new things from you on this occasion, so that's a win-win! I also think it is time for another review of your campervan. What and how many changes/improvements have you made since purchasing your van from the workshop. And... if there was anything else on your wish list what else would you add to the van for the benefit of the traveling Landscape Photographer. Thank you, for sharing your skills with us...

Hey Thomas, fantastic video as always, and always very inspiring. We stay over in Aberdeenshire on the eastern side of the Cairngorms National park, you are always welcome to stay at ours if you ever travel or have the inkling to come this side to Grampian. I am not much a fan of the cold time of the year, but anyway, somhow I find myself walking arount the woodland more in this time, than in summer! There is something special about the wood when the winter is coming, which drags me in! Your video very much reminds me of that feeling and that mood! I hope soon, I find time again for a bigger walk in the area, where the trees gather together! ;-) Thanks for that video!

Whilst still retaining your compositional style throughout your time on KZbin, i feel your processing style has evolved so much during that time especially with scenes such as the first shot in this video. That darker processing allowing for more focus on the main subject makes the shot, but I'm not so sure you'd have approached it the same way a couple years ago. I've heard it said before that the style of processing can be affected by a person's mindset/mental/emotional state; so my question is, and this may become an idea for a future video for you, those shots you've taken in the past, however happy you were with them, if you revisit the raw files now, without using the original processed image as reference, would you process them in the same way? Loved this video, and look forward to the next one! 👍 Dan
