Lexar Professional Dual-Slot card reader sucks. I have use this for years now and have many issues with Windows 7 and Windows 10. Lexar does not maintain firmware and lacks updates for these readers nor theirs 25-in-1 multi card reader. I had to crossflash firmware's on these readers to make them more stable and have somewhat faster transfer speeds. In my opinion both readers are not worthy to buy.

Hey, Please help! I have a Gopro Hero 7 that takes: micro SD (I've been using Kingston) and a Canon g7x mark 2 that takes: SD (I've been using SanDisks) Also a HUAWEI MATE 20 PRO that has like over 10.000 pics and 2000 videos I need to back up. My computer is a Mabook M1. With the obvious ports USB-C What card reader should I buy? I'm worried about losing my files, if I pick the wrong one. I'm so confused.

Hi it's very unlikely you would loose data because of the SD card reader or adapter. If you'd loose data at all, it would only happen because the files or the card themselves are corrupt, not the adapters. You have two options here. You can either get the Kingston Nucleum USB Type C Hub, which has both Micro and standard SD cards. OR. You can get the Apple USB-C SD Card reader, which has only a single SD slot and you can easily find an SD to MicroSD card adapter to use it there. I use the second option personally, since I don't specifically need the HDMI port of the Kingston adapter. But, it's a great adapter for what it's worth.

@@PhotographyPX Thank you you very much for explaining that. I was thinking i should of got cables instead. But i guess what ever is the cheapest and most reliable option is best.
