Maybe use background music that don't contain lyrics just melody. While its not that bad because of the quieter voice its still noticable and doesn't really add anything :)

Hi Gomeow, I’m struggling over which printer to get, the photon zero or the normal one. I plan on using it for smaller props/miniatures. I’m wondering if there is a big difference in detail/final product. Either way, this was a very great and helpful video, no matter which one I get in the end!

They sell all kinds big difference kinds of resins. Some are transparent other at not at all. It's going to really but upto what you need

I purchased one of these and sent it back, the printer was nice, but the updated software was crap. I had nothing but problems and only got to print a couple of items out of the unit. If they solve the software problems, then it would be a nice entry level printer. AS it sets now, the software is too buggy, and support was unable to fix, as they never have a problem. I tried several STL's and each time it had the same problem, the software would kick you out to the desktop. If all you did was generate and use auto support, it would work. If you tried to move the model on the bed, it kicked you out.

Yeah that is very odd and I haven't had that problem either. Are you downloading your STL files or making them yourself?

So far all of the printer have been able to make everything with really good details. The zero has a lower resolution screen but it does a really good job. I hope that helps 😁👍

I got no reason to go for Zero, because you can buy from aliexpress standard photon for 180$USD on sale (which is very often)...

Yeah, that is a good price for that but you can also get the zero for $116 on sale if you look for it and have about a month to wait.

one question about photon zero , is silence on printing or is same like original photon? and secont question is about the resolution is good? like original one? thank you for your time to read my post

It is not silence but it is quieter than the OG photon. The screen resolution is 854*480p on the photon zero and the OG photon has a screen resolution of 2560*1440. That being said I see little different in the print quality in my tests

Thanks for the video. I appreciate the updates. Have you casted any models from either machine? If so, what casting method? Vacuum or centrifugal? Have you tried 3D printing the actual sprues to the ring? Or can you with the software?

That would really depend on your setting and the resin you are using but it would be about 2 -3 hours. Check out this video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4GZlXejjq9onrM I printed a ring that was about that size.

Ive heard great things about Ender 3 pro. It's roughly the same price as some of the Photons. Are resin printers better? Not sure which one I should go for at that price range

@@IGarrettI They are both very different but for a beginner FDM (filament based) printers are better as they are more universal/useful. Resin prints tend to be smaller and weaker but they look better so they're mostly used for printing minis (figurines)

Was just getting into your unboxing when your mid-roll ads kicked in. If you must advertise please stick with pre and post ads. Breaking the flow/volume with a blaring advert in the middle of the video is infuriating.

Yeah I know what you mean and I hate ads too especially what KZbin is doing now with 2 in a row. That being said I don't really place my ads and KZbin just auto sets them for me. I can more it around on this video to a better point but mid-rolls are kinda the highest paying and most seen ad spots in the video so that is why I kinda need to keep them. I will mess with it and see what will work.

Buyer beware photon slicing software (proprietary) requires a gpu that will run open gl 3.3 or higher. a surprising number of windows laptops WILL NOT. Even many windows 10 units. Their gpu is actually capable of running 3.3 but intel refuses to release a driver upgrade thus stalling them @3.1. The same chip (intel hd 3000) has 3.3 drivers officially released for linux and apple. It's a cool printer, but is it worth having to buy a new computer?
