If the sun had been on the edge of the clouds, and there was a nice flare, would the 5 bracketed shots be fast enough to keep a sharp flare? Or should I give up on that idea?

Love all your videos. They are always very helpful for beginners like me. Thank you to everyone involved. Your English is very good. Many Englanders won't know what crepuscular rays means....lol but you do speak very quickly sometimes and some words slur into each other which, for us slow speaking Englanders, makes it hard to understand sometimes. Or maybe it's the beer talking....lol

Hi last week i was in NYC in Top of the Rock (Rockefeller center) for sunset view. When i looked into the Photopill apps AR view it was showing me a different direction for sunset from where it finally set. Not sure why it happened. I have taken a screen shot from the app of the position of sun as per photo piller and also have sunset pic where it dropped. Not sure how to share those pics for reference. Can you please tell me what is the issue. Just an FYI i am using iPhone 14 Pro Max on which photopills is installed.

Hi! When using the AR views is always recommended to do the 8-figure gesture four or five times to be sure the compass sensor is as accurate as possible. The digital compass is the sensor that tells PhotoPills where the north is, and doing this gesture improves the accuracy. Also check you are not using a case that has a magnet or metallic structure, stay away from other electronic devices or metallic structures. We show how to do the 8-figure gesture in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2W6c4KAmrB9Y5I You can also visually calibrate the AR view by tapping the "Visual calibration" button at the bottom and then dragging your finger on the screen to the left/right.

@@sunny784u Or all devices of people around you. Do the 8-figure gesture and check if the Sun is matching the Sun AR. If not, you can visually calibrate.
