Photographing the Milky Way with a Natural Arch | PhotoPilling in Menorca

Es Pont d’en Gil is our favorite natural arch. It’s located in the beautiful island of Menorca. Tonight the idea is to photograph the Milky Way completely vertical with the arch.
We’ve scouted the location and planned the photo with PhotoPills (www.photopills.... The shot happens at 04:00 am, the weather forecast looks good… Everything is ready.
To make the photo more interesting, and give a sense of scale, we’ll have a special guest. Enric Gener (Instagram: @27mm_photo), a fantastic underwater photographer, who will play the role of the surfer.

Great images. Tragic 400-Euro loss of the filter, but that is why I use a clip-in filter in my Sony A7R4 & Sony A7S3. One less thing to fall on the ground.

Can you use Photopills on any smartphone I have the Motorola E5 Plus

Make sure your Motorola has the required sensors (compass or gyroscope) to be able to use the augmented reality views :)

Really excellent video! One question: did your model have to remain perfectly still for the 10s shutter speed, or did you light them at one point during that 10s? I am curious how you can get such a sharp image from a person if they had to stand perfectly still for 10+ seconds.
