Hey, great tutorial! I used the select sharp edges option but I still get a bunch of different problems, do you have anything to fix that? At 8:40

No, you absolutely should not have made the selection and bevel bit a time lapse. I'm completely lost in that part, and I don't know what happened. I followed you without a problem until around 8 minutes into this video, now I've got those weird bevels from incomplete or unconnected edge loops, but even in wireframe mode, I can't see any unselected edges in that region. I'm about to select all edges and set the weight to 0.005, and delete the project if it doesn't work. If that's the case, I've already subscribed and I'll be back once I've got more experience. LOL.

you got overlapped vertices like I did. Select the faces that are messed up and press f3 and merge by distance.

@@jud_h Probably so. I've learned a lot since then. It was probably a bad idea to try this in my first few weeks of Blender. LOL. Cheers.

You really should be putting ads in your videos. They are worth it, and you will soon need money to replace your keyboard :) I handle objects like this a bit differently. If the real object is made up of separate parts I will make them as separate parts. It really helps with loops and bevels. If the objects can be welded together and the end then thats just a bonus. Stay off the ice-cream and get well soon.
