This is such a classic fall look, you can pull off anything, you are such a natural beauty! I think you’re right about the lipstick shade, the Catwalking one would have been too light. I have been trying to do my makeup every morning even though I’m home all day with my baby to boost my mood. Today I tried some products you have shared and really enjoyed them. I agree, every morning if i do my makeup and take 30 min for myself.. it makes my day so much better and i feel like i can take care of the baby! Also, with babies.. you can easily loose yourself if you’re always at home.. i did that for many years and makeup literally was such a staple in my morning routine!

@@TaniaBWells absolutely Tania. My daughter was born the day before the very first lockdown at the very beginning of the pandemic last March. We couldn’t see anyone or go anywhere and I got stuck in the house with her and she’s 18 months now and I’m finally starting to feel a little like my old self again. Being a mom is hard, no matter the situation. Important if we can take a little time for ourselves that we do just to feel good ❤️

This was so fun to see “Tania, the Professional” makeup style! Enjoyed all your tips, especially how to add a touch of shimmer on the upper lid if you have hooded eyes. ⭐️ You look gorgeous, including the hair. I TOTALLY understand how you never know which curly you are going to get on a given day! 😜 Wish I had Insta so that I could see the final shot. Thank you also for mentioning that the powder has a strong fragrance. I heard that the Dior foundation spray does too? I have always wanted to try it but I have trouble with Dior, Givenchy and other perfumey foundations. Although I would deal with it for a special occasion 📸 😇 🌸

The Dior foundation has a scent but it’s not very strong. Nothing compared to the powders😂 ❤️

I tried the Sephora version of the dior foundation and I liked it ppl said it was a “dupe” not sure if they still have it I have shade 6 of abh I feel like it’s a tad dark for me but I do like it

You look stunning 😍 I am looking forward to see the photos 🤩🤩 this video was actually really helpful since you where putting on makeup for a real life event. Since I am mature (well I actually could be your mother at 49! ) I particularly liked your tips on the eye look because I like a little shine on my lids but I am always hearing that on mature eyes you should go all matt so I loved how you showed that you put the shine a little bit higher since you have hooded eyes (mine are even much more hooded) because I can try this technique next time I go out with my girlfriends since we always take so many photos 🤗🥰

YEES!! I also found that focusing on the bottom lash line helps as well with hooded eyes!! A smokier lower lash line can really elevate a look:)

Dear Tania, thank you for this video. It’s very helpful. Can I ask if you’ve tried the Smashbox Studio Skin foundation? I’m trying to look for a foundation that photographs beautifully (just selfies mainly). I used to use the MAC Face and Body but that’s too sheer really and I’m 32 now, I find that tinted moisturisers don’t photograph well. Thank you Edit: Furthermore Tania, I would really love to see a video from a makeup artist as talented as you that can actually teach why certain makeup products photograph better than others! And what makes a nice makeup for photography rather than just using specific products. This is a rare find. ❤

I think that’s an amazing idea for a video!! i LOVE Mac Face and Body! I use it in my kit all the time. For fuller coverage I add concealer to the areas where it needs it! It is sheer but you can build it uo to a medium. I have never ttied the Smashbox foundation.

There is any difference in bridal makeup vs photoshoot makeup

Yes. Usually with bridal you want to make sure it looks flawless in person. You still have to go heavier than normal but be mindful of how it looks in person as well. Also longevity is a big factor for bridal makeup
