Whilst i love my photography hobby the problem i have personally is vision, if you know what i mean. I love taking pictures, i have my own personal style, happy to use lightroom, but if i open an image in Photoshop, i'm like, right, what now! With Photoshop you need vision, an idea of what you want the image to be, what it needs to look like, and that's where i fall short as im not particularly 'artistic'. I find the software itself quite daunting so prefer to steer clear of it. Hope that makes some sort of sense! Thanks.

Most Adobe products or even Legos, you can build or do anything you can imagine 😊

Hi, you just summed me up there as well. I subscribe to Adobes Photography Plan, so I get Photoshop along with Lightroom in my monthly plan, but I find Photoshop overpowering and non intuitive and you need to see what you want then use all its tools to get there. Lightroom is becoming so good these days though you very rarely need to go into Photoshop I find. I tend to only use Photoshop these days if I can`t remove something from a photo in Lightroom.

Very helpful tutorial as I am a complete beginner. One question though. In your workspace throughout this course, why do you have an adjustment tab, when there is an adjustment button on the bottom of the screen?

A Nikon RAW file isn't a DNG as you say, a Nikon RAW file is an NEF File. DNG stands for Digital Negative Group and Adobe introduced this many years ago as an industry standard RAW file, and hoped other camera manufacturers would adopt this, none have to date that I know of.
