Very similar to the real ones. Love it. I'd like to use it in video sometimes. Can you give brief instructions on how you animated them in your intro and outro ? I'm guessing you create 2 or 3 different images using the same settings but different dotted patterns. But I could be mistaken, maybe it's simpler than that.

Thanks for this, Marty! This will save me from having to buy "aurora" Photoshop brushes to achieve the same effect, plus this way I can customize the shape. I just wanted to say that I have applied a few of your tutorial techniques to my client's book cover designs, so your tutorials are definitely relevant for "real-world" Photoshop work, not just for hobbyists. The most recent technique of yours I used (and altered to fit my needs) was your Patronus tutorial that I used to create a ghost effect for a paranormal young adult book cover. I am curious about one thing, though... is there a reason why you choose to use the Pencil brush instead of the Paint brush?
@BLTV_Photoshop3 жыл бұрын
When drawing hard lines, I prefer using the Pencil tool, since pencils are inherently "hard", whereas brushes are inherently "soft". It's really a personal choice. I guess it's because my background in art is rooted way back in the analog days.

I wasn't able to find the quick selection tool is there another way to create that object outline?
@BLTV_Photoshop8 ай бұрын
Go to Edit > Tool bar. On the right "Extra Tools" panel will probably be the Quick selection tool. Drag it to the right panel and nest it above or below the Magic Wand Tool.
