Question, would this work with retro 3D glasses? I am talking in means for depth, like in old 3D comics and such? Does depth perception on 3D work by how many pixels you move a picture in contrast to another in the background? For instance, let's say you have a layered shot of that man above with an added skyscraper in the background. Would I simply adjust the pixel expansion on one verses another to create a depth? Just curious how it all works, as I am pondering making a 3D cover for one of my albums. Probably have to research elsewhere too. Thanks.

This is super old, but you probably have a white background layer underneath, i would guess, if anyone else ever tries this. If you turned that white layer off you would see just the red like you do here.

But does this make the image 3D when looking through glasses?
@PhotoshopEssentialsChannel Жыл бұрын
To get a true 3D effect, you would need to place different elements in the image on their own layer and apply the effect to each layer, adjusting the amount according to how close or far away you want the element to appear. But it does work.

Anyone know if this effect actually works with 3d glasses?
@PhotoshopEssentialsChannel3 жыл бұрын
Applying the effect to a flat image will only create the general look of the 3D effect. To make different elements in the image pop out more than others, you'll need to place them on separate layers and then adjust the effect accordingly for each layer. I hope that makes sense.
@fadlya.rahman41135 жыл бұрын
I suggest you desaturate the image. Anaglyph work better with grayscale photo.

if you wear a 3d glasses.... will this work? X3 em planning to make a 3D board game for the school project..... i just hope it wouldnt be a fail
@PhotoshopEssentialsChannel6 жыл бұрын
Technically, yes, this 3D effect will work with those old red and blue (cyan) 3D glasses. But for a true 3D effect where different parts of the image appear closer or farther away than others, you would need to separate those parts onto individual layers in Photoshop and then apply the 3D effect to each layer separately. So it can be done, but it will require layers, selections, and time.

Red green and blue are not the primary colors lmaooo
@PhotoshopEssentialsChannel6 жыл бұрын
Red, green and blue are the primary colors of light. Photoshop mixes red, green and blue to create all the colors you see in the image. Your computer monitor, phone, tablet, tv, and every other type of display also create all the colors you see on the screen by mixing red, green and blue.
