Wow! This was the most thorough video on this technique of making a photo into a "sketch drawing". I've been using Photoshop for over 6 years and I learned so much from this! I'm up to 3 different ways to copy a specific layer. #1 CTRL J. #2 Alt select layer and drag to top of layer stack and #3 Select layer, drag to new layer icon at bottom of layer panel.

Great video. Why did you add the levels adjustment layer and not change any of the associated levels parameters? You adjusted the blend mode and opacity but why did you need the levels adjustment layer to do this?
