Jesus, As always your tutorials are spot on. I've been following you for about four years and am amazed by to things I've learned and have added to my Photoshop toolbox. The gradient mapping is absolutely amazing, and the masking technique for the model's hair still blows my mind. As you might have guessed, I'm still trying to master that technique. Good job, and thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy!

Great tutorial as always. Color grading is so much a part of my workflow. So any new ideas / tips / techniques are always of interest. And yes, you should definitely watch "Homecoming." But you have to start with Season 1, or Season 2 won't make much sense. It's also a show that you have to pay attention to, so probably cannot watch while you're doing something else (like working out new PTC tutorials).

Jesus, a small more efficient shortcut to color code your layers is to right click on the eye icon. A much shorter menu pops up with the color options. You do so much to help others, I hope this helps you although I might suspect you knew this already.

Hey Jesús, I was wondering why PS crops the layer thumbnail and the layer mask thumbnail (at 6:40 for example). The image you're working on is rectangular, the thumbnails are as well, so why would PS crop them?

Question to Jesus. When you adjust a layer with Camera Raw filter and you have other adjustments layers on top, the Camera Raw window will show only the preview of that layer without showing the effects of the adjustment layers. I find this to be extremely annoying as I don't know exactly how it will look like once I click ok in Camera Raw. I looked at many blogs but without any results.
@sincityian4 жыл бұрын
Make the adjustment layers plus image into a smart object and then use the camera raw filter on that.
@florenceitalia4 жыл бұрын
@@sincityian Thx it works, simple. Eventually in complex projects you will end up have multiple levels of Smart Objects and having to open multiple PSB files to fix them individually. Very "Inception" way!
