I know you want to save time on your videos but your summary of processes at the end of explaining them is actually really helpful, please don't completely cut that out in the future! :)

This actually helped a lot, especially using an actual picture of the thylakoid and describing the processes around that!

This is soooooo helpful. You're amazing. I'm taking a summer bio course and it's super fast paced. This was very much needed, you're great. THANK YOU SO MUCHO. (:

How many cycles of the light dependant reaction is needed to produce enough ATP and NADPH for the light independant ?
@julioequinones3 жыл бұрын
That into, I'm dead😂
@becca98807 жыл бұрын
Bit confused what does NADPH actually consist of ? Is it a coenzyme ?
@LSCBiology7 жыл бұрын
It is a coenzyme. I'm pretty sure you don't need to know it's structure, but it's a molecule on the scale of a nucleotide that is used to transfer Hydrogen.

Does cyclic photophosphorylation only happen when they're no NADP?
@LSCBiology7 жыл бұрын
+Qwerty not necessarily, it may also occur when the rate of LIS is lower than LDS, for example there's lots of light and lots of high energy electrons being produced but the LIS is not keeping up, so there's an extra way to keep making ATP. It's a way to maximise ATP production in way.
@Qwerty-xq4nf7 жыл бұрын
Dr Bhavsar oh thank you. I've also been told that it happens when there's low light intensity and the electrons in ps1 are not excited enough to reduce nadp?

If only you had a more smoother flow to how you speak (choice of words, sentence structure, no monotone) maybe even a joke (this is bonus) you would be fantastic! tip: you could break down each step into smaller clips and then just put them together so that maybe you could prepair a minute or so before each clip so you dont have to think of what you are trying to explain on the spot (ie the knowledge and key words are fresh).
