Newark the crime and violence is considerably more than the Bronx. There's a reason he said that and he was correct. You and the other dude aren't informed on how the law works. You have to learn the law regarding that subject. If you're on your property you can have and own a gun without a license, you just can't carry it outside of your property. The "license" is actually a license to CARRY. It's a license to have the gun on you while you walk around outside of your property. So again you can buy an own s gun and have it in your property without that license. With that said it's absolutely crucial to know that you need to gohesd and buy and have that gun at home first before applying for a license, especially but you feel like or know that you're in danger, because the license can take weeks to months to go through. And with that said make SURE to learn gun safety before you even REMOTELY handle a gun.
