Nice video and a real good restaurant in a fantastic setting. The food as always looked delicious but somewhat more expensive. I suppose the quality of the food and such a nice location bring the price up.

Hi Darren, I'm on holidays this week in the Norfolk Broads in England. We are staying in a place called Wroxham known as the fish and chip capital of England!! My missus was really having a good time until she watched this video. I think she wishes to be married to an Australian! I'm going to be looking out for a floating fish and chip shop today!! Man I'd help you eat those oysters Darren! I love those juice little suckers. I'd need some cocktail sauce though. I'd probably have them eaten before you even fixed your 1st one to eat... lol... just tip the whole thing up & let it slide on down... hehehe... It all looked good. My hubby & I went to a dinner last week & they had fried catfish & I ate my tail & fins & people was freaking out over it. I told them to just try it bc it's crunchy & good. So people did & everyone thanked me & said I was right. I was happy they all tried something new & not knock it till you try it. You have a wonderful week, Chris from Missouri

Hi Darren hope everyone is doing well mate. Don't know how people can say that it was to expensive. All that food and that view was worth it. Just over a 1000 baht or about 35 dollars that's a bargain. That omelette alone would have been 35 dollars alone in Sydney. Take care and be safe mate. Have a great weekend with the family. Road back to Krabi, just after Khokkloy, you have a wonderful beach (thai-muang), no tourist and few cheap seafood restaurants as Bin La and Si Pao (serving sea cicadas)

Visited this restaurant back in 2012. We paid 1700 Baht for 4 large Tiger prawns done 2 ways, a whole barra cut in half and done 2 ways, a rice dish and a couple of other small dishes plus drinks. That was just for two of us. Whilst at the time i found that expensive....it was actually reasonable considering theres nothing like that in Perth and, if there was, it would be way out of my price range Also, it was a great experience walking around choosing what we wanted to eat out of the pens and watching them net them. The free longtail boat ride there and back was cool as well. Ill defintely be doing that again next visit.

Thanks for the great videos Darren! I'm from New Delhi and getting ready for my Phuket trip next week and your videos are perfect given half of my trip's focus is gonna be food! A question, can you recommend a site or an app I can use for Phuket (or Thailand) to find good restaurants around me? I needed an app where the restaurants are rated by locals and TripAdvisor can be every western contributor oriented if you know what I mean.

Sorry, I don't know of such an app. Thai locals speak, read and write Thai as their primary language and there are lots of review sites, like this one pantip.com/ which Thai people use, but they are in Thai. Google Maps has an increasing number of reviews, including from locals, and it translates them to English somewhat accurately.

Yeah, it's not cheap, but I thought it was reasonably priced for the unique dining experience they offer there. And the food was great 😋

Yes, for what it was I thought it was very reasonable. In Thailand though, 3 people can eat dinner for less than 10% of that. Certainly not those dishes, and not in an environment like that. Good value is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
