Been following your blogs now for a while, just watched this one. Great stuff found it really interesting and was actually working along with the drills in my apartment. I'm 56 and been doing muay Thai for about a year, absolutely love it, I'm chomping at the bit to get out to Thailand as soon as its safe to do so and spend some time training. Thanks for all your videos and information you provide, great work keeping up.

@@BradNewton I've never been there but thanks to your videos I narrowed it down to the gyms I would definitely visit. I like tiger muay thai, Phuket top team and AKA Thailand. I'm thinking of doing 1 class and a private at each of these gyms before going back for a month of full training.

Hopefully visiting this land of fitness for a good few months this November. Praying that things get better by then. Stay healthy 💪

This is awesome, I'm planning on doing a 60 day trip and hopefully train here and do private lessons most days I'm there. I feel like I could get a huge leap by training under their high caliber trainers

First time going? It is one of the best things I've ever done with my own training journey...

@@BradNewton Yes, it'll be my first time. I don't have a date set in stone, but I really want to train there. My favorite fighter who got me into Muay thai is Lerdsila and he is a trainer there. So that is how I heard of the place. I have a question, if I do private lessons only when I'm there, would I be able to hit the heavy bag by myself after the session?

Hi @BradNewton I don't see the instructor's name/info in the details and couldn't quite catch his name when you mentioned in the video. Do you have more info on him and also, is he still teaching privates at Phuket Top Team? Really like the things I'm seeing in this video looks like a great session

@@BradNewton Nothing booked yet, but I'm aiming for sometime mid October through November (at least 5 weeks but may be able to do 6-7 weeks). Been watching a lot of your videos they are very informative and I like also seeing what kind of things are taught in Private sessions as that is something I will be doing a lot of.

I use a GoPro and a phone. I use a bigger camera if I'm filming the pro athletes (but not always). There's no problems if you film yourself training.
