Sloops are the best in my opinion. Galleons pack a punch, but i'm more scared of pro sloops than pro galleons.

Well, "pro galleons" will sooner sink your ship by the sheer number of cannon balls they're able to sling at you before the water does it. What probably makes them less scary the sloop's rear can take shots all day and not end up below water level, so once you put them in a bad position to keep on with the chase you can just drive in a straight line away from them in the horizon and hope you're not considered worth the effort. A very good duo on a sloop can do a lot, since your disadvantage in speed and firepower on a bigger vessel can be denied by one of the two while the other is fully capable of keeping the ship afloat and trading shots, but if the diversion is disposed of quickly and the other can't make use of the window of opportunity there's as good as and aquarium decoration.

Quick repair of masts and anchor raising. If you can do a drive by and knock out a galleons masts they're done for. Shoot the ship up and board. Throw fire bombs on ship to keep them extra busy.

I have played sea of thieves for at least 2 years now, but I still suck at pvp. I always did pve and avoided pvp as much as possible. I’ve tried to practice more but I am still the worst pvp player on the seas. You are amazing at pvp and just watching your gameplay lets me watch how you play in pvp. I try to remember what I learn from your videos and streams but I end up panicking and messing up, I have had people play with me to try and help me learn pvp skills. One of them told me I fail at pvp because I don’t do anything and just run around the ship because I panic, I have no idea what to do in moments like that and end up sinking. I don’t think I will be improving anytime soon, but I think you are truly amazing at sea of thieves. Me and my friend watch your content and I have been subscribed for a few months, I subscribed when I came back to SOT a few months back. Thanks for being a good youtuber.

Do people forget that you can put out the gunpowder kegs? That one sloop had the perfect chance to, you backed off and he was next to it. He could've easily grabbed it, put it out, and backed up past the brig to drop it before moving out and attacking you

Every seapost has an NPC on it with a fishing rod, these are all the Hunters Call members that accept cooked meat, fish and mermaid gems. 😊 Just search the map for the tiny locations that end with "seapost"

I think the thing that annoys me the most besides the actual pvp combat is being able to hear people under water! If you can sneak on by swimming under or waiting under you shouldn’t be punished! Should have to listen out for the ladder sound effect

You can bail water faster through the windows, than going all the way above deck as long as you aim properly. Also, the ladder on the side is just barely visible from the window. Press the button to interact, and you can "teleport" from the map room to the outside, on the ladder.

PvP Tips Chapter 1. Dont take advice from someone who uses the radial wheel instead of hotkeys. Chapter 2 Dont take advice from someone who gets lucky and needs a second ship to luckily come in and save them. Chapter 3. Dont take advice from someone who sinks a ship doing an athena instead of getting tucked. Chapter 4 dont take advice from someone who narrates and over analyzes his videos and calls it pvp advice when it's really just getting lucky and fumbling their way to a win. Skills can be taught and learned but luck is luck...

I was referring to spawning me right next to the other player on my ship, the blunderbuss attack was normal. The game used to spawn us by the bow sprit or the bottom deck if one is standing by the helm, this is a recent bug that is not very noticed. Also thank you 😊
