I got home from work early, and my sweet husband left a pair of the solar eclipse glasses from 2017 on the stove and called me at the right time to watch it while he is watching from work. We had 2 pairs still in a drawer from 2017. We’re not in the direct path, but I got out a chair and enjoyed it and replayed Ms. Phylis and Mr. Bucky’s video of a total eclipse from 2017. Yay! That is really neat when the birds roost and cicadas and other bugs chirp like it is evening. I’ve been alive for three of these now. Blessings to all of you reading this now! ❤😎

2017 was the first time I visited Charleston. My friends and I drove down from Maryland and what an experience it was to witness totality. It's one thing to see pictures of it online or in a copy of an old National Geographic, but to actually see it happen. We also had a little bit of time to explore this amazing city. What a terrific video. Charleston and the world is much worse off without you and Mr. Bucky. I want to think the two of you are still enjoying the city you love in spirit.

Well now, wasn't that something?! ;-) How wonderful that you chose to share it with us all! Thank you so much! It got verrrry dark where y'all are Miss Phyllis. Here in Oregon (17 miles due-west of Portland) It got to be a heavy 'dusk' color. Street lights came on here too, the birds all came to their trees and got silent. But when light came back on, they started chirping like morning! So goofy wasn't it? Alright, you take care now. God Bless you, Mr.Bucky and of course the dogs!

It was really strange and it got pitch black there you could see the stars.
