Hi Col. Stephen! Thought-provoking Bible study this morning! I didn't realize David wasn't yet born when Samuel said God would bring a King after His Own Heart! The Lord knows our life ahead of our sense of time. He is my Realtor! He is my Advisor! He knew when He brought me back to the small N. CA town I'd longed to return to that 3 years later it would burn to the ground! He provided every step of the Way! To a home in another state & place I'd never been before! Trust & obey, for there's no other way, but to trust & love Jesus!🎶 I appreciate your digging to find the deeper meanings, Col. Stephen! Thank you! and may the Lord bless you as you wrap up this assignment and travel home to the RMR! In Christ's Love, Miss JJ & Miss Ruthie (Service Dog)✝️🙏😊🐕🦺💕📖🇺🇲

That's the trap with social media sites, isn't it? No one wants to talk about their shortcomings and stumbles, giving the illusion that they're somehow better than most. Mom told me the way she shot videos was to pretend that a neighbor was sitting right there across the counter as she cooked/talked. Like real people do. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I'll always try to "keep it real."

Just my thoughts...everything in the Word...either points to Christ or back at Christ, depending if its before He was born or after. Christ is our only King. Through prophecy and the Word...we know Christ would come through the lineage of David. David being only born of flesh...had many shortcomings but through him would come our Precious Savior and King with His whole Heart after God. Shadow of what was to come. So hard to out in words what I'm thinking but hope you can understand where I'm coming from! Hope everyone has a Blessed Sunday!!!🙏🥰🙏
@andystoner270224 күн бұрын
Kind of like Abraham...he had many shortcomings, but He Believed God and it was counted as Righteousness. God could now work through him to bring in the Messiah. The people should have known their Word and knew the Messiah would come through the lineage of David but they were lookin with fleshly eyes and not Spiritual eyes!!! They wanted what looked good to the flesh but God can never use anything born of the flesh and man's idea! The Word already said where the Messiah would come...God's perfect Will. I personally feel like...reading after all the greats that had Great Faith...having a heart after God...simply means...you Believe Him and even though you fall...you have a repentive heart and God is still able to use you!! Also, most of all. You Believe in His Son Jesus and what He was either going to do(old testament) or what He has done, to save us all! Our precious Represenative man, savior, King of Kings, our Precious Atonement and way back to Jehovah!!!!🥰

I'm not a cusser (I'm not saying that a strong word hasn't come into my head, or out loud, on a stubbed toe), but i don't think my kids have ever heard me say an even mind cuss word. But the old saying is that little old sweet ladies and retired preachers become the worse cussers, in the nursing home. But, seriously, I was explaining to my 10 yr old great niece, who I don't get to see very often, about how she shouldn't be dressing like these tic tokker girls. I was telling her that we are not to be like this world. We are to dress modestly and be different. Her reply was that it was okay for those girls. My reply was that maybe those girls don't know Jesus.

Interesting view about King David. I've been really thinking about "in Gods time" and waiting for his timing. And it being perfect....funny thing about the cussing I've never cussed and I notice everyone that I talk with does not cuss in our conversations and apologizes if it slips. Not that I ever said anything, It just makes them think. Thank you for your opinion.
