Honestly I feel it comes down to the weapon being drafted. You can pick whatever barrel and mag you want, which makes any weapon feels the best it can.

Possibly? Getting the perfect roll earlier helps with perception for sure, but I've gotten the mag and barrel options I've wanted on other guns, and it just didn't feel the same.

@@bloodelf941 yeahh , major bummer tbh. Just like how stasis will be unlocked for everyone in the final shape, I think crafting should be too. It honestly wouldn’t be a bad idea if the station moved to the tower in a new wing or something. The vendors there feel sparse at the moment anyways. So many have left from what I’ve heard.

@RealityRogue I am of the opinion that crafting is bad and unhealthy for the game, but that battle I've lost and conceded. With how important it is, you'd think the crafting station would move to the tower. It's literally the endgame goal. Beyond raids, patterns are the ultimate reward.

100%. High impact pulse rifles are so absurdly strong that this could probably go another 10 range and stability under Elsie's and it'd still frag out

I've been running keep away and volt shot with this on a arc build and it slaps. Def a good arc pulse imo and I also pair it with a feeding frenzy, dragon fly the swarm and shred content including onslaught.

1st off, love the pfp. Big Lonesome Road fan. Fuck yeah. 2nd, I wish I felt more comfortable reviewing guns for pve. I don't like doing damage test stuff, so as a result, I'd just end up copying homework from other better creators. But hell yeah. High impact pulse rifles aren't something I usually think about bringing into higher tier pve content, but voltshot is definitely a perk that would convince me otherwise. I just wish I enjoyed arc hunter more for that.

Damage tests are pretty tiresome imo since in most raids your gonna one or 2 phase even with mediocre dps, I usually look for weapons and perks that help me do everyday content. I def enjoy your pvp review of it and though it was pretty informative.

This arc pulse slaps in pve and even more in TFS - crafted with enhanced voltshot + keepaway or compulsive reloader, has nanotech tracer rockets, has good range and can get 100 recoil. I prefer it to oversoul arc pulse

About a decade of experience, removing my stick deadzones, and careful selection of clips, lmao. Granted, this video didn't have the flashiest of plays, but when you get to curate what you show, it's easy to pick the right stuff lol

I'd been trying to get a Premonition to drop, just to see how it felt. Turns out I never got it to drop back when Shadowkeep was modern content. I kept farming the dungeon when I could or when I felt like it. Took a couple weeks but I eventually got one... with Slideways and High Impact Reserves lol. Gave up on trying it out at that point

For a lot of guns (varies depending on archetypes) due to deterministic recoil, recoil direction usually feels best at 85 and 100. Precision frames seem to be the exception to this...

That's what I've been told, but since recoil direction is a pure "feel" aspect of the gun, I know that I prefer a higher number usually ( i.e. 90 instead of 85) even if it's objectively better.

the scope is horrible in this gun, purple and indigo are the 2 colors to NEVER put in a hud.... but its the only voltshot high impact...i love this gun

Lmao, I actually think the gun looks great. Takes shaders really well like all of the Neomuna weapons do. And I've never really enjoyed voltshot as a perk, but hell yeah, dude. Glad you found something redeemable lol

voltshot really needs a buff or a change because man does it feel bad to use, maybe if it worked like lunas magnificent howl where kills before loading give a nuber of volt ready shots because as its only getting one voltshot that does almost f all isnt fun compared to the other subclass verb perks

it seems like it has some weird damage difference based on what gun procs it? so maybe it can really crank out boss damage when it's off of something specific? But it also seems like it's built specifically for add clear, and most other add clear options just kinda do what it does better? idk, I never liked it

I think its more like eyesluna is a forgotten handcanon in destiny 2 pvp with no origin perks slideshot etc. like literally no one uses it anymore but its my favourite gun and i can't explain why, and I use it with kill clip + mask of bakris/stasis reload dodge (the animation is same) which allows for lot of bakris dodging with kill clip reloading it and giving you 1h 2b low resil 2h 1 body high resil

Grasp and Pit both need loot refreshes. Eyesluna is a weapon I never really got into, but I know people love it even though it's been power crept out by so many other guns.

@@bloodelf941 Statistically speaking and perk wise its fallen off, no origin trait too. Nowadays you mostly see rose thorn lunas etc. eyesluna is very rare to see in the crucible but it's got its own feel to it that makes it special to me Plus points for being the only good stasis hc that works with bakris lol

@Exhalted1 Maybe? But with the winter's shroud changes coming, that might be overkill. Dodge cooldown is already really low as is, but then we could get into how Hunter stat investment is just a nightmare because of how many things matter to this class compared to the other 2 and that's a rabbit hole I don't have the time to get into while i'm sneaking onto my phone at work. Maybe I'll make a short video about it or something lmao.

It's probably the extremely lax matchmaking in the New Territory playlist for the new maps. A couple of matches you're not seeing had me way outclassed by groups of 3 when I was playing with my buddies.

If your engagements are lasting longer than 12 seconds, and you're not dying in the wind-up time before you actually have a perk, either you're sitting in the back of the map with a scout rifle standing in a rift or behind a barricade taking potshots and not doing anything for your team, or you are in such a low skill bracket that you are incapable of hitting precision shots. Average ttk in the crucible is too low when you're engaging in actual combat for Frenzy to ever work as a pvp perk. If it had an activation on multikills then maybe it'd be good? But only in 6v6 or rumble, and even then, it'd take a few kills before you actually had a perk in that column.

@ssjronin3972 They're free to have their opinions, but you (proverbial not literal) and I are not Cammy or Coolguy. This isn't a source of income for me (yet), and if it takes me 12 seconds to kill a guy, I'm probably leaving the game by the 3rd time it happens. Slow crucible sucks and I'd rather do anything else with my time. I don't queue trials or comp with a full fireteam specifically to avoid that level of play. If I gotta eat through multiple overshields, multiple healing nades, rifts, and wormhusk healing just to kill a guy, I'm going to go play Dark Souls 2 and farm for covenant items because that's a more engaging use of my time.

@@bloodelf941 That's on you. I play all crucible games and run into stalemates. Which is why I know its a good perk, it is for big brain play styles. Pairing it with stag helm and peak shoting, switch to this when the other team are spamming barricades or rift locks. I bet you think under over is trash too and don't know it shreds those who camp in rifts.
