With the marine segmented worms covered, let's get a closer look at Oligochaeta and Hirudinea, which include the familiar earthworms, and the leeches. The anatomy and physiology of the common earthworm is actually quite fascinating, press play and see what I mean!

This video is so fascinating. I've never thought that earthworms weren't alive, but I've never thought about them in terms of their own motivations. It's really interesting hearing you describe them needing to find their burrows after the rain has passed. And thinking about them. Having some kind of motivations that aren't simply robotic processes is very intriguing.

I had to dissect a lumbricus terrestris. It was gross to touch and hard to cut open because its so slimey and small. Still had fun at my course tho. Thanks for freshing up my mind on this topic.

Do you think you'll eventually make separate playlists for entomology and for vertebrate zoology? Since I'm pretty sure a vast majority of zoologists are either entomologists or specialize in some group of vertebrates, there's probably a lot more to talk about with phymum Arthropoda and phylum Chordata than with any of the other phyla.

No doubt medical staff are pretty emphatic about counting all the leeches after certain procedures - otherwise you may just end up with a suspiciously frequent number of nosebleeds after nose surgery... : /
