c1 inhibitor inhibit complement activation and when deficient it promote complement activation and that why we get c4 deficiency i think u have one mistake when mentioned c1 inhibitor promote complement activation in ur slide while u explained it right thanks a lot for ur lecture its the best

ACE and C1. That's why ACE inhibitors are contraindicated in those with C1 esterase deficiency. (give ARBs instead)
